Michael Hubbell, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.

Michael J. Hubbell, MD, FACOG has his family roots in the farming community of Wisconsin (Go Packers), but his formative years were spent growing up in Georgia. He moved back to the Midwest where he completed his medical school and residency at the University of Illinois in Chicago.

With over 25 years of experience, he treats all aspects of women’s healthcare with kindness and compassion. His special interests are minimally invasive / laparoscopic surgery, abnormal pap smears, menopause, and women’s fitness.

Dr. Hubbell is the Chief of the Department of OB/GYN at Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital.  He consistently remains active in hospital leadership. He is board certified and is a fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

He is married with two dogs, two grown children, and three grandchildren. He enjoys physical fitness, fishing for walleye, and riding his Harley.

Jill Holden, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.

Jill Holden, MD, FACOG is a small town girl at heart, having been raised in a big family in central Illinois. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, and her medical degree from Kansas University School of Medicine, Kansas City. She completed her residency in Ob-Gyn at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, Colorado.

Dr. Holden is the Chief of Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital Medical Staff. Past positions include Secretary of the Medical Staff Northwestern Medicine at Lake Forest Hospital and the Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She maintains an active role in hospital leadership. She has appeared in Chicago Magazine as one of the Top 100 Doctors in Chicago of 2011. In addition, she is listed in Castle Connolly Medical’s Top Doctors of the Chicago Metro Area’s 2nd and 3rd editions. She is board certified and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Holden is especially interested in helping women navigate their health journey thru life, encompassing adolescent gynecology, well woman care, obstetrics, infertility, minimally invasive procedures and surgery as well as more complex abdominal surgery. Caring for women is unique in childbearing but also in the malignant and pre-malignant diseases that affect only women. Dr. Holden embraces the privilege of educating women with empathy and compassion thru these life events.

Dr. Holden resides in Lake Forest with her husband, Dan, and two nearly grown children. She enjoys gardening, piano, fitness, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Tanya Huang, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.

Tanya Huang, MD, FACOG (Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists) was born and raised a Texan, but has embraced the truly changing seasons of weather and life in the Midwest.

She graduated from Rice University in Houston with a double major in English and Biology. She completed her medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas and stayed there to do her four year residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Parkland Memorial Hospital where she learned to speak some “Pelvic Spanish.”  She is board certified and a fellow of The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Huang’s special interests are in adolescent gynecology, laparoscopic surgery and non-invasive procedures like ablations for heavy bleeding and Essure tubals for sterilization. She also volunteers time at the free clinic, Healthreach, in Waukegan.

Her husband, Dan, works for the Lake County State’s Attorney office. She has three children of which two attend Lake Forest High School and one is away at college.

Dr. Huang believes all women deserve education about their bodies, empathy for any issues or problems and expert medical support while they traverse through adolescence, pregnancy, and menopause.

Heather Heiberger, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.

Heather B. Heiberger, M.D. FACOG was born and raised on Chicago’s North Shore.

After graduating from Evanston Township High School she ventured to the west coast to attend Stanford University and graduated with a BA in Values, Technology, Science and Society (VTSS) with a minor in Human Biology. She returned to the Midwest to reconnect with her family and the seasons.

There she attended the University of Illinois College of Medicine and stayed in Illinois to complete her four year residency at The University of Chicago Hospitals. During residency she served as academic Chief Resident. Dr. Heiberger is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Being raised in a family of four girls, Dr. Heiberger has a special interest in overall women’s health both in obstetrics and gynecology. She also has areas of interest in adolescent gynecology, abnormal pap smears, menstrual regulation, fertility evaluation, endometrial ablations and minimally invasive sterilization. As a physician, Dr. Heiberger welcomes the opportunity to work as a team with her patients to help them achieve healthier, happier lives. This is attained through education about their bodies, emphasis on the importance of various preventative care measures and correct medical and/or surgical interventions.

Dr. Heiberger is married and has three daughters. Her favorite thing outside of work is the time she spends with her family. In addition, she enjoys fitness classes, travel and reading.

Elizabeth Oh, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.

Dr. Oh, M.D., F.A.C.O.G. began her practice with Ob-Gyne Associates in 2004. She graduated from Northwestern University with a major in psychology. She received her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2000 and she completed her OB-GYN residency through the University of Chicago Hospitals where she was the academic Chief Resident. Dr. Oh is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Oh’s special interests include adolescent care, abnormal pap smears, menstrual regularities, ablations, and minimally invasive sterilization. She believes the best thing about being an Ob-Gyn is being able to get to know each of her patients and their individual needs, fears, and joys throughout the stages of their lives.

Dr. Oh is married, has two children, and a dog named Cocoa Bear. She is fluent in Korean, and her hobbies include running, golf, tennis, and reading fiction novels.

Maureen Tart, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.

Maureen Tart, MD, FACOG (Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists), NCMP, grew up in Connecticut and came to the Windy City to complete her residency training.

Dr. Tart completed her undergraduate degree at Georgetown University with a major in psychology. She also received her medical degree from Georgetown and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Chicago hospitals. She was the academic Chief Resident and trained with Dr. Heiberger and Dr. Oh. Before coming to Ob-Gyne Associates, she practiced in Chicago for over ten years. She was the co-medical director of her group and Vice Chair of the OB-Gyn department for several years.

Dr. Tart’s special interests include adolescents, weight management, guiding patients through the infertility process, and menopause management. She is a NAMS Certified Menopause Practitioner (NCAP).

She is married with two adult stepsons and two younger sons, who keep her very busy. Her youngest son was adopted domestically, so promoting adoption is important to her. Her decision to move to the suburbs was driven by her children.

Dr. Tart believes her role as an Ob-Gyn is to partner with patients to promote their health. From teenage to menopausal years, the reward is the long term relationships she develops with the patients and their families.

Maureen Such,  Practice Administrator

Maureen has  had the opportunity to be with OB/GYNE Associates of Lake Forest for over 19 years and each day brings a new opportunity for her  to better the experience for patients. She enjoys the challenges that  are  within Healthcare and how it relates to providing  patients outstanding care. She is an advocate of early adoption of online applications to improve the business and services for the patients.

Her free time is centered on her family. Maureen has three children that keep her busy with school and extracurricular sports. When she has a free moment, she enjoys cycling, hiking, working out, dance, and just about any outdoor activity. Maureen loves to travel and one of her favorite getaways is Door County.
